With rich flavors that awaken the senses and a warm atmosphere that feels like a home away from home, it’s a place worth returning to, time and again.
Stopped by Trapper’s Mountain Grill and honestly had such a good experience. The place has a really warm, relaxed mountain feel and the food did not disappoint at all. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and full of flavour, and the portions were generous. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome right away, which always makes a big difference. Service was quick but not rushed, and the whole vibe was just comfortable and easygoing. Perfect spot to enjoy a good meal, especially if you’re in the area or visiting the mountains. Would definitely go back again.
It’s a tourist town, so expect a little higher prices. But super friendly staff and great cooks in the kitchen. What a nice place! We will come often! And if you speak a little German, Wendy is a joy to speak to! Excellent food, excellent service! Suggestion: anything from the grill is worth it!
My girlfriend saw sweet potato poutine on the menu and that was all it took for her to beg to go there. Long story short they are absolutely delicious and worth stopping in for. We had them with brisket and the brisket was tender and juicy. She had the brisket stew and I had a chicken sandwich. Both were perfect after hiking Bertha falls/lake.
We’ve been twice to this place and enjoyed it both times. Loved the pizza, delicious dessert and friendly staff. The atmosphere was great and we thought the decor was perfect. We like how it was a family business too. Thanks again.
Their food was okay but nothing special about it. If you’re looking for a place with ribs, bbq, wings, with wide selection of beers and other booze, then this is the place in Waterton. Their ribs were a bit dry and have too much fat in it. Their smoked chicken wings tasted off for our liking and didn’t resonate with us that much. The server was nice and attentive to our needs. They have patio tables with a good view of the mountain and main avenue.
We had a round of burgers. The Smoke changes the flavor from what you may be used to, but delicious. Fries were hot n crisp. Service, from the gentleman that noticed us outside as one was inside getting seats to our server, Cody?(sorry I suck at names) was 5+, Atmosphere is wonderful. We took the outside corner seat and one way is a geologic fun fest of layers, the other way is a busy street for people watchers. Great Lunch, thanks. Prices? We'll you're in a tourist town and they have rent to pay, but it is family owned and the little things they do show well.
